Outstanding Calvary eighteenth century Philippine Spanish. This is a set with the base and painted wood cross, two statues of the Virgin and St. John with the wood body and hands and heads in ivory. The Christ, ivory, depicts a Christ still alive with a great expression and staring. This is undoubtedly a splendid sculpture group is very representative of Hispano-Philippine School characterized by realism and the dramatic excitement of religious events. The height measurements of the characters are 23 cm from head to toe and the total combined height is 62 cm x 36 wide. A hand of Christ is restored. The rest is in perfect condition with some minor restorations in wood, after his execution.
